I’m Katelyn (she/her).

Equal parts feminist table-flipper & sassy tender-heart.

As an Integrative Life Coach, I help big-hearted humans break bullshit culture rules that keep them pleasing, performing and perfecting, and show them how to deeply embody their pleasure, purpose and change-making power instead.

I live and work in Toronto, Ontario, Canada - the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee, Anishinabewaki, Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation & the Wendake-Nionwentsïo peoples.

I belong to a fierce sisterhood of remarkable and diverse individuals who have shaped me, loved me, held me and taught me. I am a woman for women and all who experience misogyny. I love us so much and I’ll never stop working towards our collective liberation.

Here’s what I’ve been up to professionally over the last 10 years:

I’ve been working as trauma counsellor in a shelter for families rebuilding their lives after violence; providing crisis & suicide prevention/intervention support; facilitating workshops on topics such as emotional resourcing, trauma anniversaries, body shame, burn out and more; speaking at conferences, in women’s groups and on podcasts, and providing private coaching to women looking to transform their lives.

Personally, I’ve gotten up to some pretty cool stuff, too:

I’ve been raising two compassionate & honourable kids with my wonderful partner; communing with goddesses & ancestors to better understand my feminine lineage & gifts; completing my stress cycle (h/t Emily & Amelia Nagoski), and learning how to inhabit & collaborate with my body more instead of letting my head (and all the monkeys who live there) run the show unchecked.

My anti-oppression values have also deepened and sharpened over the last 10 years as I pursued and completed a diploma in feminist counselling & advocacy, worked in various community settings with underserved populations, and learned to navigate complex systems to access gender-affirming care with our youngest son.

Therefore, I’m proud to share that I am a strident supporter of justice movements and equity models such as Black Lives Matter, Me Too, Health At Every Size, and Transformative Justice. It is my steadfast belief that the personal is political, and that any wellness practitioner worth their salt knows how important it is to work with both the internal and external forces that impact their client’s lives. You can learn more about my core values as a coach here.

It would be my pleasure to get to know you, too, and to support you as you build an empowered & embodied future for yourself and - by natural extension - your community.

In solidarity, and with so much love,

A little more about me:

  • I’ve been powerlifting for the past 6ish years at Iron Lion Training, an incredible, inclusive gym, where I’ve developed strength and community with the most bad-ass teammates and coaches I could have ever dreamed up.

  • I love to read and talk about books I’m reading. My all-time faves are Parable of the Sower, by Octavia Butler, Wild, by Cheryl Strayed, and anything by Lindy West. Please send me your recommendations!

  • I use expressive, adult language from time to time. If that’s not cool with you, I’m not likely going to be your cup of tea.

  • I live for karaoke and shaking everything that jiggles - in a bar, in my living room, on my deathbed.

  • Magic Mike XXL is an underrated cinematic treasure. I’ve had many viewing parties with my friends. Many have been dubious; none have been disappointed.

Here are some of the programs & courses I’ve recently completed:

Document the moments you feel most in love with yourself — what you’re wearing, who you’re around, what you’re doing. Recreate and repeat.
